The friendly Managers, Cesare and Anna
Cesare and Anna are back! Previously at Mbweni for 2-3 years, hospitality professionals of the highest order,
they have now returned and are enjoying looking after our guests,
the lovely gardens and the restaurant, among their other duties. Fluent in English and Italian.
The Staff at Mbweni are part of the family.
Many of them helped to build the hotel, and have stayed on to run it. Here are a few of them:
Boniface Ernest, Assistant Manager,
who always seems to be there to answer your calls and emails.

"Babu" was at Mbweni from the beginning, much loved by staff and visitors alike.
Sadly he passed away in November 2007.
His book "Memoirs of a Whenwe", which is about his life in Tanganyika in days gone by,
has been reprinted and is now on sale at the hotel.
